What if Goose Girl had an
artificially intelligent handmaiden
and it stole her identity?
The Goose Girl and the Artificial
A Goose Girl Retelling
Meet the Characters
Arta
Did You Know?
The image on the cover of the novella (the novella, not the anthology) is the actual key necklace from the story?
For each of my books/series, I have a special necklace to commemorate the release of the book, and I happened to find the perfect key...and worked it into the cover!

On her way to becoming queen,
Goselyn must complete several tasks,
including journeying to a foreign nation to work with Prince Corinth on a treaty.
While traveling, her Artificial, Arta, steals her identity,
threatening to hurt Goselyn’s mother
if she doesn’t comply.
Goselyn must pretend to be an artificially intelligent creation
in order to protect her kingdom from her cousin as he controls
the technology around her,
but when the Arta's threats expand to include the foreign prince,
Goselyn must figure out a way to tell the king and prince
what is going on without getting everyone killed
in the process.

Did You Know?
In the original version of this story, things didn’t go so well for Fal, a talking horse?
I couldn’t exactly go around doing that to a horse these days, so Fal became a robot—he’s not artificially intelligent, but he’s the most adorable robot butler you’ve ever seen!
